This platform bed is for use with a mattress only; a foundation such as a box spring is not necessary. The height of the Concord King Size Platform Bed is 17 inches tall. PLEASE NOTE that the mattress, under-bed storage drawers and linens shown in the illustration are not included. You may purchase under-bed storage drawers for an additional cost.
