The Glasgow Headboard is styled in a way reminiscent of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, a designer who took the Arts & Crafts movement north to Scotland. This is another all-metal headboard with a few interesting design features that may not be noticeable at first glance. The square posts of the headboard are slightly rotated from flush, so what you see straight on are the corners. The headboard is 55½” high. The grills are designed with 23 closely spaced spindles – another design element of the style, with a concave top rail and two small cutout squares in the center. The finish on the headboard is called Aged Slate and is a multi-step process that makes the headboard look as though it was made of wrought iron a long time ago. Some assembly is required. PLEASE NOTE that this item is a headboard only. Footboard, frame, accessories, linens, and a mattress are not included.
