The Matte Black Twin over Futon Bunk Bed combines contemporary styling and functional sleeping space. The top twin size bed and lower full size futon bed is a great solution for siblings sharing a room, sleepovers, or story time. The bunk bed is designed and engineered with safety in mind. The bunk bed has heavy gauge 3 inch diameter metal tubing, full-length guardrails, and a sturdy welded metal slat system for mattress support. Ladders are integrated on each side of bed. The top bunk uses a standard twin size mattress and the bottom futon uses a full size futon mattress (sold separately). This bunk bed is tested and certified by an independent testing laboratory to meet all minimum requirements of ASTM F1427-04 and U.S. CFR Title 16 Part 1513. The maximum total weight is not to exceed 300 pounds on the upper bunk. The overall dimensions are H 65-3/8 x W 80-1/2 x D 43 (inches). Some assembly required.
